I haven't updated the journl for a while and I thought this would be a good time to do it.

I just bought a new computer. iMac 10.5.4. I have to say I was apprehensive at first. The last Mac I had I didn't care much for, but it was great for editing video on. This one is Fantastic though.

Only a couple downsides. iMovie is a strip down version of the previous versions, but iMovieHD is still available for download, so I got over that quick, plus I use Final cut pro more anyway. And no Apophysis for Mac. I know their is the java version, but it's just not the same and it doesn't appear up to date with 2.08. Yet anyway. So, unless I can find a good free Mac alternative to Apo, I probably won't be doing Fractals for a while. I just have to look around. The way my page views and comments have died down over the last year, I guess it's no big deal anyway.

So, for now I will probably be focusing on 3D programs, Terragen (TG2 once again ) and Photography. I may start a new account for the photography, but I'm not sure yet. If I do I will update this journal again at that time.

But I am still interested in any good Mac version Fractal programs, so if anyone knows of any let me know.

Well, that's about it for now. I'm off to mess around with my new computer and see how I can abuse it
